From You: When you register, we collect your name, email, nationality, country of residence, university, and your track/pass preferences. When paid registrations open, payment details will be collected directly by our secure payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

From Your Device: Our website host, Vercel, automatically collects basic technical data (like your IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and functional. This data does not reveal your identity.

3. How We Use Your Data

We strictly use your information to:

• Process your registration and manage event logistics.
• Send you important updates regarding your attendance.
• Comply with legal obligations, including mandatory event permit reporting to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).

4. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to sponsors or any commercial third parties. We only share information with:

• Essential Service Providers: Vercel (for website hosting) and Stripe (for payment processing).
• Authorities: When strictly required by UAE law or DET regulations.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary. Active delegate data is kept for up to 24 months after the event for certificates and reporting. Financial records are kept for 5 years to comply with UAE commercial law. Incomplete or unsuccessful registrations are deleted within 12 months.
